View Full Version : Heli-Fishing, Where would you go??

I have an opportunity to go heli-fishing in Alberta. Wondering if anybody has had the chance to go, or if they could go where would you go? Just looking for some ideas on where to fish in order to make the most out of the opportunity. Whether it be for rainbows or cuttys or golden trout, I'm just trying to get the most out of the experiance. If you could help me out that would be much appreciated.

golden trout without a doubt there pretty hard to hike to in alberta and in very remote places.

2nd cuttys because there gullable and will get big in lakes giving enough time to feed and not get fished out

ok when does it start up for the year because ill probibly look at it for my birthday in march

Ice Fields Heli woul be the way to go IMO, I've backpacked into most of the Lakes within range and had a great time at all of them.
