Fort McMurray Fishing

Hey guys. Been looking for a while as I wanted to take my son out and just to relax on days off instead of the bar scene. Was wondering are there any good spots around so I can take my son for his first trout?

Engstrom lake has trout in it, about 40 minutes south of town down HWY 881
Lots of good fishing aruond town in the river however ....

you can also go to the highway 63 pond which is just south of the mx track, there are also 2 trout ponds that are on airport road, one i believe is the first right after the clean harbours camp and the other is by the rv storage place on the right just up the road.

if you do a little search about fort mcmurray you will find directions to all of the trout ponds near fort mcmurray. sorry too lazy to type it all in again lol.

but my suggestion would be either engstrom lake or east texaco pond out past airport
