What is your favorite line overall and what have you tried? I'm in love almost with berkley's Nanofil line, f'n awesome. I've almost always had spiderwire or trilene xl but nanofil is awesome!

My favorite:
“Great legs, what time do they open?”

Others I have tried:
"Excuse me, but I’m new in town, can I have directions to your place?"

"Am I cute enough yet? Or do you need more to drink?"

"Can I read your T shirt in brail?"

None worked:confused:

Trilene XT is what I use :budo:

I am super impressed with FireLine. Switched in mid July and I feel like I cast a lot further. It is also really tough to break. I have been snagged quite a few times and never lost a lure (8 pound test).

Switched to Fireline 2 years ago and have used the same reel on and off the ice, haven't had to change my line yet. 4lb. The only draw back is the line does slip, so I had to learn a new knot. I've pulled snags out and have bent the hook before it breaks.

Fireline on all my reels. 6 lb, 12 lb, 20 lb depending on what I'm after.

See ya

I've used pretty much all the braids, and PowerPro and Sufix 832 are the ones that really stand out to me, especially for going heavy duty in the NSR.

I've been switching over to the Suffix 832 on some of my rods, and I really like it. I'm sure it will go on the rest when need be...

Has anyone else tried nanofil yet? I was told fireline by a few friends too. I'll try it next.

I was all set to try some when 3 fisherman i respect told me it floats like a greased flyline.....good qualities for slipbobber fishing, but not much else. I was told it does cast very well though. I will try some later in the year when the new Smoke gets here right now all the reels have Iron Thread or Suffix 832 on them.

I also use vanish quite a bit for leaders. I haven't had a problem with it except when I tie a crappy knot.

The main line on my rods is all super lines but many different brands. Some have fireline, a couple have power pro, and a few others have spiderwire in a few different models.

I think when I respool some of my rods I will try out a few with 832 and others will get spooled with nanofil.

"I might not be the best looking guy in here, but I'm the only one talking to you."

"Can I buy you a drink or do you just want the money?"

"When it feels like I'm feeding a horse,(and it will)I think it's time to proceed to the next step."

"I'll bet you a dollar I can touch your *&^% without touching your shirt......Guess I was wrong,here's a dollar."

After I say these I follow it up with " Just call me butter, cuz I am on a roll!"

I use PowerPro fishing line.
