Marie Lake

I have a friend who wants me to bring my boat up to Marie Lake (Near Cold Lake). I know nothing about this lake and see very little discussion about it on the forum. Is there anyone out there who can tell me about it. I am a little hesitant about taking my rig up there as it is a long drive for me.
