I personally wouldn't unless I was starving, and if I was pregnant, which would be really suprising, there would be no way I'd eat them. I'd be eating leaves and berries. There are plenty of lakes around that have fish in them if it's fish you want to eat. Play it safe and don't eat from there if your pregnant.

Thats a big negative read the regs it gives you the mercury advisories for lakes and rivers and the NSR is a big no for pregnant women.

Heavy metals such as dissolved mercury don't just start at Edmonton.

It is the heavy metals like mercury that will give you a kid destined for the little yellow school bus.

The dissolved mercury runs the whole length of the NSR and comes from naturally occuring sources, not just Edmonton pollution.

Mercury levels are just as high at Fort Saskatchewan as they are at Tomahawk, Devil's Elbow, and the outlet at Abraham Lake.
