Good Day on The RDR
i got around 50 mooneye on the fly and 2 goldeye and one monster . Flies i used was a big black ant with massive legs, and stimulators after the stonefly hatch started up again. YES theres another stonefly hatch on the RDR.there was a ton of shucks on the shore line and right before the thunderstorm the stoneflies started comming out of the water and crawling up my leg and around the rocks. seen well over 12 adults then the storm kicked me off the river.
got a massive goldeye and a big mooneye today aswell.
i cant tell you this location but if anyone wants to come out and fish it your all welcome its a short walk to the water and never seen anyone fishing it.
