Mitford pond is stocked. I dunno about what it's like though, never been. You'd be better off in the bow most likely.

I have always wanted to fish the bow what would be a good starting point for area and tactics nymphing under an indicator and let it float with the current or are there better way i am fairly new to fly fishing and have never river fished,? :)

This site gives a pretty current listing on the hatches. Nymphing or dries right now are both good. You should be rigged up to handle 5+ lb bows, browns or maybe even a bull. I use 8 lb fluoro leader. PM me when you're heading this way and I can give you the latest scoop and maybe hook up if time permits.
