Beaver has a OK amount of small walleye. You might have a hard time getting a 50cm keeper. Touchwood is good, but if you want to keep one there is zero bag limit there.

If you got a quad jackson/kinnard/ blackett is your best bet for size and numbers if you want to keep something

Have any of you guys ever tried a crayfish imitation in Beaver Lake?

There are crayfish in Beaver Lake, and those walleye must know they are tasty.

Water is starting to green up a little. Although last time out was lousy, I've found the size of the walleye to be a little bigger this year. More keepers than in previous years. The pike have really got small and skinny, though. I think the winning walleye at the derby was bigger than the winning pike.
