Maligne still fishing awesome !! not much silt in water fishing like June.. very nice day yesterday . Young bull moose at Upper Malinge River .. trolling was great !! caught and released quite a few on Sprats and Double Shrimp.. four brookie's for supper mmmm good:) Black Bear and cub or cubs on road down .. wow beautiful day:sHa_shakeshout:38320

my buddy is taking the pic and yes to the four brookies ,the male is in spawning colors (two each)..the water is like June as there is not much silt in water.. this is one of those strange years even the berries out here are behind

Is Maligne Lake suitable for fishing out of a belly boat, or is it big enough to be dangerous? Perhaps it's too deep? I've been curious about that lake for a few years, but have never been there.

Sounds like fun! I was on Maligne for a few days in July and had a blast.

Yes to fishing Maligne in Belly boat Home bay area(Rainbow Alley) and you could walk up shore to Hidden Bay lots rizing on Monday.. just use cold water dry suit and you should be fine
i have seen Drift boats on lake to four mile.. allthough it can get rough and you may have to wait abit for it to calm up.
