Long day so I hit the river for a while after work to unwind. Managed a couple eyes, 2 and 4 pounds, nice and healthy fish other than the fish leeches on both of their tails. Saw a couple very good sized sturgeon doing acrobatics, unfortunately not on my line this time, what amazing fish they are. Like being at marineland, seeing 4 foot fish come 3 feet out of the water. At least they are still in the area, Im addicted now and want more of them!

unreal, not even a light wind of any kind, not even a ripple on the water, great photos.

Quite impressed with your 'hatch knowledge' for a non fly guy.

i couldnt believe it the first time i saw it. it actually still seems odd. i wish they could talk so they could tell us why they jump like that.

back down tonight for a while, managed 3 different kinds of eyes in 3 casts, moon gold and wall. couple very good sized goldeye, just average mooneyes, and a small walleye. had a beaver try and push me off my spot, but Ive dealt with scarier and hairier beavers before, didnt work :bad_boys_20: anyone ever caught a goldeye with pink fins? got a pic just havent uploaded it yet, maybe its the rare "pinkeye"?
