Fraser River Sockeye Opening

Just wondering if anyone headed down to the Fraser this past weekend for the sockeye opening and how you did?

Spent yesterday out on the Fraser. The water is on the high side but not too bad and continuing to fall. The crowds were very manageable and the weather was perfect. Oh ya......... the fish were very receptive! Not the numbers that were around last year but they were around. I picked up a #20 lb spring as an extra bonus!

How long do they have the season open for this year?

I have heard that the season is over this Sunday.
