I got to play with a couple of them this summer out on the coast. My guide had a few of them in his own personal stash. If I was going to spend the money on a top notch reel, I would get an Islander.

i think you spooled the line on wrong....the line should be comming form the bottom of the spool not the top.

going to fish the nsr tomorrow i broke my good rod i have a rod somebody loaned me going to have to get used to it this rod is more noodlish than a ugly stick the whole rod bend with just a twitch lol
