heading up to phylis lake on sunday for a few days.
are the perch in there big enough to target or just little guys?
if anyone is up in the area please stob by & say hi.

almost all the ones I have ever caught or witnessed someone else catch were too small to bother keeping. A friend of mine did pull a 9" out this summer but that was the only one I have ever seen big enough to bother with. Of course this is just my experiences, perhaps others here have had better luck.

If your Perch fishing does not go as planned you may still tie into some rainbows. If you really want Perch Burnstick Lake is not to far away for a day trip.

going for the campground & rainbows mostly.
just saw the sign about the perch & wondered how big they are.
if the rainbows are slow i may scoot over to burnstick.

thanks for the info !

there was still a nice brood left in there a week ago. look at the shallows where they drop off around the island. the perch are past the island or at least the ones I saw. nothing big except the brood
