Chestermere!!!!!!!!!!

Went to chestermere today we caught one had steady bites all day. the pike was 27 inches and 5 pounds. Everybody around us got a couple at least. I thought it was ok for the first time
PS. Every where you go it's 5 to 7 feet deep but don't worry theres good fishing everywhere!

where about were u fishin as i need a place to take the kids to that is not the usual 1.5-2hr drive that i normally go by myself. have never fished chestermere.

Is there anything other than Pike in Chestermere? I thought I heard that there were perch also.
Anyone?

"Used " to be good place to catch 10-12". Haven't caught or heard of anyone catching any for a few years now. There is the odd Rainbow, Brown, Whitefish in there. Main feed to the lake is the Canal system off the Bow, so any fish that are found in the Canal, can be found in the Lake.
