Mitchel's guide says upper reaches of Nordegg river has everything in spades, big browns, brookies, bulls, rockies. What upper is upper enough?

I have checked some spot yesterday, about 15 km west of Sunchild rd., the only measurable result was a nice brown, but it was rather good luck than anything else. Anyway, where are they, meaning can somebody share some geographical info?

I can post GPS coordinates, but again, the place does not deserve the second chance.

That used to be a great river for brookies before the dam went in. It is now a pike river with the exception of the upper reaches.

Be careful around the Sunchild Reserve when going up those creeks.

Some of our troubled "Native Brethren" get sent up there.

Thank you.
I have had my share of trouble with those fellows...

Anyway upper parts supposed to be west of sunchild, not east. How up is up enough? Up to Wawa or even upper?

What dam you were talking? I do not know about dam on Nordegg, am I miss it? Or it is Bighorn?
