Perch Fishing Lesser Slave Lake

Hi guys.I live at Shaws Point and i've never went ice fising for just perch.Does anyone have any tips on what to use and where to go??any info helps thnx

You live at shaws?

Best spot around the point for perch is past the main boat launch towards hilliards bay.There is a big weed bed their in the summer and it remains through the winter.

LSL perch seem to have a minnow addiction once you locate them but also take maggots and tip small jigs (either bucktail or rubber) in white,yellow,and sometimes red.

We live there too...but mainly just in the summer.

Just came back from lac la biche. Perch were hitting on small spoons, red, and tipped with worm and sometimes with maggot (more worm). 25-30 feet of water seemed to be the best. Good Luck!
