Hit some great grayling action this past Saturday. River levels have come down and it's perfect for grayling.

Had probably the best day of dry fly fishing ever on Stimmulators and hoppers and as with other recent reports the exception was not to have a fish hit on a cast.

I worked my way down river a fair ways and when I found a good pool the average fish size was 13" with the biggest at 16" and a lost a couple of nicer ones.

The bull trout were also active and I had a couple go nuts on hooked fish. One took a grayling and snapped me off. The high light was a 20" bull that cleared the water by about a foot to hammer a hopper....never seen a bullie do that before.

Conditions are prime right now for some great dry fly action.

It's an Olympus Stylus tough 2000, 10MP. So far it's been a pretty good point and shoot camera. Perfect for walking the rivers and not taking up a lot of room....and with the shock proof/water proof features it takes a beating.
