South Sask. River Sept3&4

Had a good overnight trip on the S.S.R. The sturgeon were bitting. We landed 13 strurgeon and lost a few.7 of them were over 48" and the biggest being 54'"52"and 2 at 51".They were fighting really hard the 48" ones were fighting the best you would have thought they were bigger while you were fighting them.The big ones were jumping right out of the water makes it lots of fun.They are starting to get some girth to them and gain some weight.

awesome fish, Ive been finding the river around here pretty slow lately, but last evening the goldeye and mooneye were rising and jumping like crazy

We didnt catch much else a couple walleye a sauger and 2 suckers.
