What a day, one fish for hours of trying, but the weather was gorgeous, and it was a holiday, so it was all good.
Sweetgrass Hills, Montana, about 90 miles from where i got the picture, great start to the morning

Nice pics. There is a beaver house just up steam of those trees in the one pic.We caught some good sturgeon in that hole this spring.We were out upstream of Taber today and we got skunked. We did catch a bunch of shinners with the minnow net.Good time of the year for that.

RC this is the first year Ive seen them , but I seem to be a snake magnet this summer. good thing I like them. Dago I have been catching lots of shiners in my minow trap in the canal too, going to have a great supply for ice fishing.
