Was looking at hitting 40 mile res. this week. Any reports out there from anyone fishing it? Thanks!

I never knew there was rainbows in 40 mile. Are we talking about the one near Bow Island? If so, how is the water depth? Are they still running irrigation out of it?

There isn't rainbows in 40 mile as far as I know. It is a perch, pike, walleye, whitefish, burbot type of lake.

I think you are thinking of Tyrel south of Lethbridge on highway 4. It has some really big bows in it but they can be super tough to catch.
