I've been experimenting with making movies. This is my first and I see I have to fine tune some of the font colors so it doesn't clash with the background.

Practise makes perfect and I'll keep trying....

If any of you make your own movies, I'd appreciate some tips.

Nice show and love the music. The only problem I had was that the text is really hard to see against the dark background in a lot of the pics.

real good slide show .the only thing that i can think of to make it better would be to change the color of your lettering to a yellow or a bright blue so more of your text is readable.try to stay away from useing natural colors when writing text as they blend into the back ground.

Great work Tuc. I've made a few slideshows now and the guys always like them.

We seem to hunt the same area a fair amount. I'm pretty sure I've stood in many of those same places as the pictures were taken.

Good show Tuc. I liked the one photo of the guy sleeping with the ear muffs on! There's always at least one guy whose snoring rattles the trailer windows.

good show. I certainly agree with the lettering colour comments. It is often hard to find something that works but looks good (Gack I hate yellow and blue text:sick: ).

What program did you use to produce this (If I may ask)? I've been trying to figure something out that will work for a trip I just took.

Mighty nice slide show Tuc. Thanx fer sharin. Like the others said a lighter colour on the text would make it a bit easier to read, and I as well, like your musical choices.

Thanx for the kind words guys.

What program did you use to produce this (If I may ask)? I've been trying to figure something out that will work for a trip I just took.

Cop, my wife recently bought a JVC digital movie camera. I made the slide show with the software that was included.
I'm looking forward to making a live one this summer when we get out to do some camping. If you get yours figured out, please post your trip.

Picasa2 and Everio Power Cinema often come with new PC's these days. If you have either, you should be able to make a slide show.

Windows Movie Maker is also very easy to use.

Real cosy. Although I'm not sure if having the dog in camp is a wise idea. I'm not bothered but a crusading F&W officer with an itchy ticket finger might have a problem. The law is open to interpretation about dogs and big game.

Neil,
I don't think it is illegal to have a dog in camp. He sure doesn't come hunting with me. I lock him in the truck when we go out. I do know it is illegal for him to chase game and I don't allow that. He doesn't go any further than the camp site and helps out with controlling the field mice. You can hear him all hours of the night chasing mice in the tent.

I usually don't bring him in until my tags are filled. Some of the guys want to hang in to fill there tags so I bring him in for a companion.

Gunslinger, not only will he skin deer, the buggar will help you eat it too....lol
I got to keep an eye on em!
