I have a 2005 TDI Diesel Jetta Wagon that I am thinking about selling.

It has 150K on it
5 spd manual transmission
New clutch
New Timing Belt (done @ 125K) (serpentine belt and water pump done at same time)
New head gasket, new rear main seal
Eurospec Headlights
Eurospec fog lights (in headlight housing)
Leather heated seats
CD player
as loaded as they came in 2005

2 sets of tire and rims:
winter set are Nokians....on 15 inch stock rims worn but could get by one more winter
summer set are Kelly Fierce tires on 17 inch machined spoked rims

Tinted windows, silver in colour

Wetterhauer chip set for fuel economy, throttle response, and enhanced turbo profile

Switched jobs a while ago and no need for a hyper-mile car anymore, plus have a company vehicle now

Full maintenance records done as the dealer would suggest with full records on that....if the book said do it....it was done.

Body WAS immacualte till the Wife backed into a fencepost and dinged the door...not so much as a door ding on the rest.

Will be either replacing windshield before sale or knocking equivalent $$$ off of the price.

Excellent fuel economy! can drive the car fully loaded (2 adults, 2 children, back full with a roof top carrier) to Vernon BC on one tank of fuel ~60L

Asking $14,900

PM for details pics available on request, located just South of Edmonton.

Car back up for sale.

Just over 160k. No issues, still the great car it was.....really need a truck for our needs now.

Willing to trade for equivalent pickup or Sell for $14K....

Comes with brand new set of winters on rims that have less than 5k on them, we replaced the Nokians with new winters.

Oil leak, was rear main....head gasket was done same time as the timing belt, water pump, etcs.

Interested in the car?

Valve cover gasket or cyl head gasket?

Might be a valve cover gasket....lol, not sure I am not a mechanic I would have to look at the service receipt.

Bottom line on the car is that if the service manual interval said to do it....it was done, the car has been meticulously maintained.

I previously had a job where I was paid $0.50 a KM for mileage. I averaged around 4000km a month for the time I worked there and this was by far the best car to drive under those circumstances.

Are you interested in the car? :)

I have one member here looking at purchase if financing goes through so there is an offer pending. If that doesn't go it will still be available.

Valve cover gasket or cyl head gasket?

I checked my receipts and it was indeed a valve cover gasket....NOT a head gasket.

When some other work was being done they pointed out a small leak at the gasket so I had them replace it.

Last bump for AO Members.....then this car will hit Kijiji at an asking price of $16k (on the advice of a respected friend this car should NOT be listed for any less than that) the repairs listed above were ~5k, this is truly a get in and drive with no worries car. We found the truck we are going to buy today and will open up to other advertising (Kijiji) soon.

Thanks for looking!
