Coyote hunting

Im brand new to hunting coyotes and im wondering what licenses or permits do i need to hunt them and what times of the year can i hunt them also wondering what are some good places to go around calgary
any input you have will be great thanks.

You don't need any licenses. You can hunt coyotes all year if you have permission on the land.

Yep, you don't need anything but your rifle (or bow) and a call to hunt coyotes. Went out for my first time this last weekend. Just find ask some landowners if you can use their land and then go to it!

How about crown/forestry land do the same rules apply if i do need need some paperwork would you please tell me which ones i will need

Reading the regs, no licence required for yotes on crown land either, but you need to not waste the pelts, and you can't hunt them past Feb 28
