I was in the Red Deer Costco today and there are selling a 14 gun safe with an electronic keypad that looks pretty good. Price is abut 350 I think, does anyone have one? How do you like it?

I just bought the same safe in medicine hat 2 weeks ago...I'm very impressed because for $330 your getting a 278 pound safe.the only issue I had was trying to set my keypad password, however after abit of swearing and messing with the thing(1.5 hours), I finally got it figured out! If you buy this safe and need help setting your password pm me!

Bought the same one last Fall, and have found it to be a great safe. The only issue I had was with the manufacturers label on the front. It covered most of the door, and when the top layer came off it left behind adhesive that proved incredibly difficult to remove, until I found a product called "Goo Gone" at Canadian Tire. It was the ONLY thing I tried that worked to get the glue off.

X2 on tryin to remove that #$@% sticker that covers the front, scratched the finish off, shoulda tried goo gone. The only other negative was wrestling it down a set of stairs , but nobody's ever getting it out... Great value for the cost.

Great deal for the money, have one just bought another. Depends on what you plan on putting their for guns in terms of storage space but 10 is doable no prob. Another security measure as mentioned before is the weight, somewhere in the range of an F-150. Getting it into the house and down the stairs without having to use the life insurance policy was an adventure. On the plus side for someone to steal it with guns inside it they are going to need to hire an offensive line or crane to get it back upstairs.

any 12 gauge shotguns will need to have the shelf removed (on mine anyhow) or store it anglewise across the safe. love mine.

Just purchased mine about 2 months ago from the South Costco in Calgary. Great safe the only thing is like lilsundance meantioned if you have 12 gauge you will have to trim the shelf or remove it, besides that great safe!!
