Chambered in a .308. Have any of you ha any experience with this gun for deer? Or larger critters like elk. etc? currently gave a Winchester m70 spotter 30-06.
Looking for something new!

a buddy of mine had one and couldn't wait to get rid of it...Thats the only info I have on the rifle. I suppose if your willin to pack it around all day the .308 will take what you want down...

I have one in 308 it works great on deer, I hand load 150gr nosler BT for it as well as Barnes TTS for the larger critters, the gun has a interesting sound to it because of the muzzle brake that is facory on them, but the gun shoots like a hot damb! I have a couple of friends with them as well they all like them, This one my wife packs most of the time and she killed several deer last year with it and never complained about the weight. I would recomend it to anyone. My two cents

I've got one, great shooter, but heavy. Only thing I've shot with it is paper, but a .308 will do the trick on deer.
