Does anyone know of a trout stocked lake within 45 minutes of the north end of Calgary that would be good for kids to icefish?
I have a 6 and 4 yeard old and would ideally like something like Chain Lakes (lots of small fish and steady action).
I just don't to have to drive 1.5 - 2 hours to fish, when they only last 1 - 2 hours!
We have a tent and an Aqua View camera, so even if the fish aren't biting, they can be entertained with the fish on the TV (I know my buddies were this last weekend at Chain, that lake is fulll of fish!!!!At any given time we would have 6 - 7 fish on the viewfinder in 20' of water)
