O.K. with Clay at Basix's help I changed the trigger in my Savage 223. It was already tuned in for accuracy. Does the fact that I took the stock off and then re tighten the screws make any difference to the POI? I hope not, but I'd like your opinions.

I don't know but if I do anything to any of my rifles I always confirm my POI afterwards. Besides, don't you want to try out the new trigger? :)

It all depends on the gun. With proper bedding, and consistent torque, the point of impact usually won't move much, but with no so great bedding and inconsistent torque, the difference can be significant.
