I inherited a shottie today that my grandpa used to use.
It is a CIL 607H. Can anyone tell me where to look for some more info please?

The 607 was made by Savage, model 67IIRC....

It says model 607 H on the receiver. Made in USA on the barrel and Canadian industries limited on the receiver. The serial number is A112256.

Yup, the gun was OEM by Savage for C.I.L.
C.I.L. did not maake any of the fire arms they sold with their name on them, but franchised with Franchi, Savage/Anschutz, Parker Hale, CBC, and other gun companies.

So would Savage still have details on production and such? Dates and chokes etc.

Likely, yes.
irv at Western Gun Parts may be able to help as well.
I did have some records, but have not been able to find them of late!:(
The chokes were identified with stars IIRC, * for full, and the more stars, the more open.
Your gun was likely made between 1968 and 1970 - I could be wrong though....
