What do you think is the best place to buy fishing stuff? Base it on customer service, price, variety, location, or anything else.

ebay. do your own research on items with other anglers . or check with members on AO if they have equiptment for sale.or for great advice

i found the hard to get (cd9 rapala ) on ebay brand new, with shipping cost me 8 dollars per crank and is a trout killer on bow. bought 4 saved 12 dollars.

i find doing my own research is key.if you find someone at wss,fh.bps or canadian tire or a local store with knowledgeable staff thats awesome but good luck with that.

research is key to me ....AO forum has alot of great anglers who are happy to help out with advice....

happy trails and good fishing

The Fishin hole for customer service and having most of the stuff I need.

Wholesale comes in second for a wide variety of stuff and cheaper prices than what I find at the Fishin Hole.

The Fishing Hole, 97th st in Edmonton.

And I am glad Cabela's is not an option on this poll!

Southside fishin hole in edmonton... for service that is. There selection is good, but not fantastic. I also find their prices to be quite good. If I need customer service I got to TFH. I try to get any big ticket items at TFH...

If I need a wide selection of lures, BPS, Cabelas or WSS, depends where I am and what I need.

If I need len thompsons for cheap....walmart.

NEVER go to canadian tire. Selection sucks, prices suck, service sucks, IT JUST SUCKS.

SO, 25% off,

LOL, I am sure if you look around you can find a sale and save about the same and have them in your hand to go slay Browns in the bow.
SAME DAY.

The fishing hole for the service you get. Usually go to canadian tire since it's close, WSS and Cabela's aren't bad either if I'm there anyways.

I heard that they get Eskimo Mako augers in the Fall. I'm waiting on it anyway.

I voted for The Fishin Hole, but...I do frequent WSS and many of the small fly shops for specific items that TFH does not carry, particularly for certain tying materials.

X2. All three TFH stores in Edmonton are good. Not as fond of the north store but still better than WSS and Cabellas. IMHO

I hope not. They are decent guys and always have a good selection of fly tying materials.
