Crawling Valley Reservoir, plus more creek fishin'...

Spent a few hours at Crawling Valley Reservoir with my bro' on Saturday. We took our pontoons & jigged up some walleye & pike. Fishing wasn't the best I've seen it there, but it wasn't bad; would have been nice to see a few bigger 'eyes, I reckon. I fished an ultralite rod & used a spare fly reel spooled with fluorocarbon; it handled those 'eyes & pike just fine...

Waiting for a bite. My rod is a 'Frankenstick'. My buddy put together the butt end of an ultralite UglyStick & the top section of a fly rod to make a nice, long ultralite; just had to change the eyes on the top section- the 2 pieces just happened to fit together perfectly!

Darrin got him this time, but the pics are on his camera.
I was back on the creek 2 days later & caught the same fish again; fourth time I've seen this fish caught in 8 days!

I don't use any fancy-schmancy software; just the Kodak Easyshare software that came with my old camera. I like it more than the package that came with the Olympus that I took the pics with...
