Thanks to everyone who replied to the last thread. I received a lot of pm's as well with information. As promised, a venue has been found. I spoke to the bar manager, he said the house rules are no minors after 8pm, however, there is a back room which seats 20-30 people, and he said if we are in there, the rules can be changed a bit :) So this means our young friends can stay until 9-10 if need be.

Remember, we are 2 blocks from the c-train station for a safe ride home, or we could set up a few DD's if people wish to drink.

Please only give a yes or a no on this thread if you will be here

I think people can reply here if they wish to attend. I for one, realise nothing is set in stone. Things change, so if you think you might be there, give a heads up. I don't want to keep the 20-30 person room booked if we are only going to have 10 or 15 people, know what I mean? If we get a TON of maybes, than its easier, or a lot of no's, than we'll just reserve a table :)

Hope for a good turn out, might be a little fun there too, who knows!

For the crib, its not allowed in standard pubs, etc. If AGLC comes in and sees cards of any type going on, and ya never know when they're watching, the bar can get a massive fine. Unless the tender ok's it, I'd say no

I think if we can ignore the lowest common denominator then the event should be well attended and a good time.

Like I said, I'll be there and can carpool anyone else in the NW who is interested or wants to take advantage of Slivers cocktail specials.

The site is in desperate need of more moderation.

Mrs Gringo is also actually known as calgarywolfwoman on the board. She comes out to all the gatherings and outings as well. We actually have several ladies that we see quite regular in the group. Come out to more outings and you will find lots of ladies to hang out with and not feel alone like being in a "mans" world which some seem to think ont he board.

I would have to agree. Thanks to all who showed up, glad we could have a nice time tonight! Had 11 make it I think, which was nice. Hopefully another event similar can be arranged sometime soon, perhaps quarterly.

We do wings every wednesday night in sherwood park. Started may 31 and only didn't do 1 week so we did thurday instead.
