Well, with ice fishing season coming up I just thought it'd be nice to get a thread going on the subject with the photo being the main focal point :)

LOL!! Im actually looking forward to doing a little ice fishing this year. Not full out .. just a teaser or two. and bust coyotes the rest of the winter

Ideally I would like to see enough ice to start fishing before I go in for surgery but I don't see that happening here in the south.

I have the ice fishing bug bad this season.

walked on some ice for the first time yesterday in a back channel on a foothills stream. broke through, but i was on ice baby.

Seen some slough water out by the Fort Sask area froze over last weekend .

Won't be long now... I heard they aren't calling for snow until at least after Halloween. Would be great to have another year like a while back when we were driving. On Gull lake and not a single patch of snow on the ground anywhere.

Yeah that would be sweet if we got a nice freeze this year for at least a couple of weeks before we get any snow. Hoping to be out this year just as much as last, I started Nov.14, and I ended on May 14... :D
