Ok my daughter has a question about lake temp. In a lake with depth greater then 25 m the temperature at the bottom will be _____deg c ? And yes I tried Google... Any help would be good.

4 degrees C. Fresh water is densest at that temp., so it would be on the bottom unless disturbed. In the summer, if a lakes stratifies, the hypolimnion is the name of this cold water layer, below the thermocline (zone of temp. change).
