View Full Version : Tactical Shotgun Deer Hunting
Does anyone know if it is OK to use a shotgun that can hold more than 3 rounds for deer hunting in Alberta?
Thanks

Yes, you can. Just make sure you know where it's shooting and you're good to go!
Oh for goodness' sake...lol

Umm, not sure where you're getting your info but that's only for waterfowl.

That would also apply for upland birds not only waterfowl, only time I have been checked with a shotgun I had my pump 410 and the officer made sure it had the plug and would only hold 3

On phone now...will let you know.
Ha to be transferred to a couple of different people to get the answer from them.
They said that the 3-shot limit doesn't apply to deer hunting.

Is it a pump or a semi-auto? If its a semi the max is 5 if its a pump....good to go.

It is a pump! Good to go :-)
Wife will carry the rifle...I'd love to see her take one at a longish (100+ yrds) range.
I'll carry the shotty. (Fabarm Pro Forces...with an EOTech on it...ha)
