Weeds are gone and all the HUGE pike are in 5 feet of water, goodluck

On Tuesday I put the waders on, grabbed the 8 weight and chucked a few flies in two foot waves at Wabamun. The wind blew me right off of the water. I could almost hear the fish laughing at me. I gave it a good try but the pike did not co-operate. Maybe I'll get out one more time this year before freeze up.

I caught my big fish is 8-9 fow in the bay south of the bridge last Saturday.
Near the plant was dead.
Weeds were good.

Water temp was around 7c
Wind was strong from the west.
