spent the day at jackfish with my bro and a few buddies.
fair to ok day. between the 4 of us we hit 15 pikes with 5 being keepers, best was 69cm.
lost just as many. no perch or 'eyes. strange...
most entertaining part was when the fish cops totally threw the BOOK at the guys beside us. they were close so we overheard everything.
they got stung for possession of undersize pike, which were confiscated, open beers, their FLAT was confiscated, and not having their fishing licenses on them.
nothing like going home with no fish, no beer, and a grand in the hole after a day of fishing!!!!!!!
it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
these pros were killing small pike and throwing empties everywhere!!!!
we were going to report their plates but didn't have to!!!
gotta love when a-holes get what they deserve!!!!!!
all in all, a fair day with spurts of good bites...
good to get out.
