a guy from work told me the perch are back in nakanum small but back.


IS there any truth to this???

I dont care if they are huge, or anything but just want to know if im wasting a trip out there this winter???


they also claimed to have seen pike on the camera.


if so can someone please give details???
maybe pm me a location to check out?! :P

nakamun has perch, tons of em the odd kinda big one most from 4-6" this was last winter in close to 30 fow

My In Laws have a cabin there. They sent me a pic two weeks ago of my Niece holding a couple Perch in the 6" range. The water level is up quite a bit too this year, so hopefully it will help keep the numbers going. Great to see fish growing again!

Last winter caught some 6" in 16 fow just a couple of feet under the ice. Sure looked like it was starting to winter kill. As all the perch were just under the ice and would not chase the hook down to 10 foot depth.

I heard from the fishin hole that it winter killed.

Winterkills often do not completly wipe out fish populations. In most cases the populations tend to recover naturally on there own.
