Guys I made a card in Microsoft Word for Ken. I don't think this is going to work the way I planned but if you reply with your names I will add them on my end.

After one week I will email the card with all your names on it to Ken's family.

If you'd like, I could email the card directly to you as an attachment and you could sign it that way. Anyrate, either way will work. If your interested drop your email address in my PM box.

I met Ken personaly, and feel for his family. Maybe it would be a comfort to them knowing he was loved and respected, by his peers, doing what he loved to do.

I am not sure what a quilt costs from beth, but maybe if we all send a donation for the quilt, a little more may be sent than what she charges for one.
the residual could be sent to help with the expenses being incured by his wife?

All were aware of Kens situation.
Ken was one of the reason I made up my mind to have my WLS. I thought at the time, if Ken could fight that hard, my road would be a comparable walk in the park. I remember sitting up one night and reading a web site he had going, he spoke of his love for his family. I caused me to actually pick up the phone and have a chat with him. We have kept in touch over the last 3 years.
He was a good man.

Ken was both a brave man and a man of faith I appreciated the chance to get to know him via email and phone. It all started with a picture of my boy in front of the Jeep Rubicon unlimited Ken sent his picture and then we found out we had much more in common.

This forum will miss him but it will be better because of him. I hope we all have more patience and understanding because of one who set a standard and example.

I just need to add something here..I worked a little internet security and I was wondering if people want their real names posted in this thread. I guess what worries me is we all have outdoor toys..guns..and I would hate to see someone research and rob a fellow AO'er

On a further note, it is easier for me to add the names that want to be on Ken's card rather than send the card to you. If any of you would like to see the card, I would be glad to send you a blank copy without any names. I want you guys to know, your info is safe with me, and that's my word!!!

I believe I already mentioned to some that the card is in MS Word format so you would need this program on your PC in order to view the card. We have alot of names on it and most of you that have frequented the AO forum lately all requested your names (some along wiith family) be put on the card. YOU GUYS are AWESOME!!!!

I hope everyone has had a chance to get their names in. I will leave this posted until Monday then I plan to print off the card and mail it directly to Ida and Kelsey.
I want to thank all of you for participating and a special thanx to Rob for allowing me to organize this on his forum.

I'm sure Ken would be proud of you's all!

Tuc, if you could add my name that would be great. I met Ken this summer when I bought his encore. Hell of a nice guy, the kind of person you wish you could spend a week at hunting camp with. Lots of stories and lots of experience at the pastime he enjoyed so much. The love for his family was very apparent in our brief, one hour, discussion. I know that was the main thing on his mind at that time but he still managed to light up when it came to talking hunting. Things will never be the same for his family but I am sure they are all better people for having him in their life. RIP

I know the effect Ken has had on me. I cant even imagine the blessing he must have been for his family. A very special person to say the least
