Just did a 'shore patrol' of the glenmore below the hospital recently. the ice covers the rez, although under 1/4" at shore. Will melt in the next 48 hrs completely I'd assume.

I think he may be checking the ice at Glenmore to have an idea of how the other bodies of water around Calgary are doing. If Glenmore has roughly1\4 inch thickness at the shore, you can assume other lakes around here do also.

What?! Thats horrible... Where is the -20 I've been looking for?!?! I was out icefishing last year around Nov.20.... Doesnt look like its gonna happen this year =(

It was really cold out last year, in Nov. We had a mare founder on us in -36. I remember so clear. But , yep, not what you want to hear but as far as the other 98 % Albertians... Im thinking their good with this warm weather arriving.. :)

Hope the cold air shoots in soon. I really want to try my ice fishing out !!!!
