Is Chain Lakes, Pine Coulee, or any other popular lakes frozen enough to go ice fishing yet? Need to know ASAP :)

Thank - You

Stopped at the south end of Chain to walk the dog on Thurs on way to BC. Water was completely open. No ice so I'd say No in answer to your question. Came back today and there was a white out in the area.

Last I knew. Thurs, Chain was partical but you can still fish from the shore
nearest the washrooms behind the campground. caught a few trout

Sat. McGreggor was not either

The Sat. before, Pine Coluee was not froze but nothing for 2 hrs..

Ghost res. 85% covered with snow at 17:00 today... freezing infront of our eyes. I'd expect 100% coverage by morning... never checked shore ice where it was covered, but Beeguy said there was no ice 24hrs ago, just for perspective! Its COLD tonight though!
