anyone out there willing to share some tips on burb fishing will be appreciated . i have never caught one but here they are very tasty. bait , depth, etc. where in south alta. would be a bonus . thank you.

Almost anything used to catch Eyes will work for Ling. Mostly active in the evenings but can be caught during the day. Crawling has been starting up with Burbs.

usually catch them just trying for walleyes. nice but ugly suprise, :D

I can't look at the things, there just to ugly.
But, my dad loved fishing for them and eating them. His bait of choice was to thaw a few Smelt then refreeze them and repeat again. When we went out you could smell those things a mile away. But his lines were always going when guys next to us would just watch the show.
