Pigeon Lake, Long, Calling, ice?

Anyone been on Pigeon yet? Long by Boyle? Calling? Want to go tommorow, looking for ice conditions. Should be good at all to walk on but just wanted to check.

Cant say for sure but I wouldn't be suprised if long lake has 4 inches close to shore. I know last year when bellis had 7 inches long lake had 4 inches and guys were pulling perch out. Calling probobly isn't even close yet. Pigeon should be very close to ready though but havnt heard of anyone fishing it yet.

Well plans have changed. Buddy called and said we are going to Carson for some trout. Will post pics and give a story if we catch any or just end up in the hot tub drunk after 6 hrs of driving and 6 hrs of getting cold. At the very least we will be drunk and warm at the end of the day. Sure sucks the rest of the time tho if we don't get any fish. Any one know of a good perch lake on the way back to Edmonton if the trout are not biteing? Don't you dare sugest Thunder lake like my budy did.

Long lake 6-9" around the western edge of the lake extremely slow fishing for most folks

I Would like to do a weekend trip out to Baptiste and im just wondering with this warm weather what the Ice is like for walking on?

As of Sunday Nov 27th there was 7-8" along the east and north shores of Pigeon.

Hmmm. One good week of -20 and should be driving on soon. Just need that cold weather to move in.

yesterday at poplar bay, 9 inch 400m from shore
