Ice fishing??

Any lakes with the ice thick enough to fish around Edmonton?? I was thinking about chickakoo or salters?? Maybe coal for pike but I am wondering about ice thickness? Any suggestions?

I'm going to try chickakoo on Friday or next week. The fishinghole report says it's 6 to 7 inches
