You must not be looking very hard if you haven't found them yet. I grew up in Wanham, and they've been breeding like rabbits up there...

Go south up the hill from Beloy to the tower road.
Walk down either slope a bit, Find a line and sit & wait, it about all I can say.

Wrong road, your thinking Codesa road. No tower south of Belloy...:)

Ive never hunted elk by wanham before but I have shot my fair share of mule deer. I have seen some elk just driving around looking for mulies. I saw most of them in fields around first and last light. have you tried any calling to try and get them out of the bush during the day?

I think he meant North ... it's been so long since I've been there, I can't remember.

Trav is correct, south on Codesa Rd & up the hill. North will get you to the banks, and you can get lucky there too I guess.

No tower anywhere on Belloy road. The codesa tower used to make a great treestand before they took it down. Now it sits at the museum in Wanham. The elk are all through the hills, and on the banks of the peace, and all the tributaries running into it...
