Thinking about heading out on the weekend. Never been there before. Any advice would be appreciated.

drive on the lake from the launch and you'll see an island at about
2 o'clock . Head to the island towards the right side of the island

on the north/ east side of the island you will see a power line
going to the island. It has some big red balls on the line.

under that line about 40 to 60 yards out from the island
there is a drop off from 10 / 12 ft to about 20 / 30 ft .

Set up on the drop off , should get some pike there and maybe
the odd walleye if your lucky.

I wouldnt drive on the lake right now. A little thin yet for a vehicle IMO.

I've caught my walleye straight out from the launch about 300-400 ft from the Island. I park just to the left a bit of the cabin on the island and fish in 13-17 feet of water. Anywhere around the Island :shark: should produce pike, but the powerline with big red balls is a well known spot for catching jacks. There's an excellent drop off there which goes from 7-25/30 ft in a hurry.
