Does anyone have any good technics of using tip ups for jacks that they would share
I was thinking a pickerel rig with a smelt and a stinger might work any ideas?

I just use pike harness.. I make my own though so I can choose accordingly with bait size.. works well.

Either push a treble through the belly of your bait, and then hook that directly to your leader, or use a quick strike rig.

Also, welcome to the forum :)

Steve, everyone has their own tried and true method, don't be afraid to experiment. Quick strike rigs work well for most sizes of pike. If you can build your own you can target all sizes. You normally get the bigger one when you are targeting walleye, perch or white fish with smaller tackle. Happy fishing:angry3:

Best to just build your own but you can buy 'em at TFH, WSS etc...
