Chickaoo lake today

Was out at Chickakoo lake today. The ice is good. I was there for about an hour or so and got only one bit. A guys close to me caught a few brookies. Was nice to get out there for the 1st time!

whats the best way to get your bait down. Mine was floating with a small hook so I put a split shot to get it down.

We enjoyed our brookies later that saturday with seasoning salt and butter....
