Decided to head to PCR last night to check on the ice and catch some line. Ice was less the i thought it would be only about 5 inches with 2 being white ice. the ling bite is on right now got about 12 in an hour in a half from 4:30 to 6 and some nice sized ones to biggest about 5lbs.

Thanks for the report. Was the whole lake covered or was this just north above the bridge? I want to head there one evening after work this week.

What part of the lake was it?
South of the bridge had a lot of open water on Friday night, but was growing ice up infront of my eyes.

5 lbs is a very nice walleye for that lake! Way to go!
Maybe them walleyes are finally hitting a growth spurt in PCR

Was fishing open water there friday night.
It's either open or un-fishable.

All fish have mercury in them.
PCR has pretty average levels.
Moderation.
