Nice! That's one species I still need to catch. Any tips where to look for them around Calgary?

I think Brookies are my fav of the Trout species forsure, not too sure about the fishing around Cowtown. Always fish Central AB myself.

Most attractive fish to catch is the Brook Trout, very colorful fish, nice fish man.

The closest would probably be Cochrane, in the Jumping Pound Creek. There are lots of these guys there, but they are mostly small. Still tons of fun to catch on ultra light gear.
