Well, the ice is good at Nemesis Lake, I'd hit it for the afternoon/early evening.

where do you find the burbs at PCR??? I've only caught walleye out of there and would love to try my new ice auger and catch some burbs this weekend

same place as the eyes, usually start feeding hard at dusk.

Please tell us how you do as I would love to hit PCR for some burbs. I thought from my experience, that it is best just at dusk for about two hours. Won't you be a little late?

Ive fished it til well after midnight, they may slow a bit later on, or they may get more agressive, with the full moon and thin ice it might be a bit slow for them this weekend they dont like light much. Might be in the deeper holes too.

PCR 3" - 4" black ice, some white spots... was sturdy for ~400 lbs between me and fishing partner of the day.

Burbs bit on and off, walleye bite was non-existant

bait about 2" off the bottom, jig occasionally but for the most part keep still. Bring a book and a rod bell.

I am heading out tomorow to pine coulee tomorrow. I am a little conserned about the warm weather we had today. Can anyone confirm ice thickness. It was +9 in Calgary.

at 1pm it was 3-4" of black ice. super strong, did a 235 lb jump test :)
